Whisky Tastings

Today, Campbeltown is home to three working distilleries and Scotland's oldest independent whisky bottler, Cadenheads.  Cadenheads was established in 1842 and its warehouse is a genuine whisky treasure trove, packed with countless rare casks from across the decades, and across each of Scotland's whisky regions.  A warehouse tasting here is an experience like no other.

Family-owned Springbank Distillery is unique in Scotland, with 100% of the whisky-making process still completed on-site.  So you can be fully confident of a comprehensive distillery tour before your tutored tasting begins.  Glen Scotia and Glengyle distilleries are close by too, with a wonderful range of tours and Campbeltown tasting experiences.

It's a short hop from the Kintyre Peninsula to the distilleries of the Isle of Islay & the Isle of Arran and, if you have the time to spare, it's well worth combining regions.
