Campbeltown Whisky Tours
luxury private tours to Campbeltown
We'll whisk you away, through the spectacular west highlands, to Campbeltown on the the wild and beautiful Mull of Kintyre. Once home to 36 whisky distilleries, Campbeltown has the unique distinction of being a whisky region in its own right. Together, we'll explore this small, historic Royal Burgh. You'll gain a strong flavour of the many ways Campbeltown's whisky heritage lives on.
Today, Campbeltown is home to three working distilleries and Scotland's oldest independent whisky bottler, Cadenheads. Cadenheads was established in 1842 and its warehouse is a genuine whisky treasure trove, packed with countless rare casks from across the decades, and across each of Scotland's whisky regions. A warehouse tasting here is an experience like no other.
Family-owned Springbank Distillery is unique in Scotland, with 100% of the whisky-making process still completed on-site. So you can be fully confident of a comprehensive distillery tour before your tutored tasting begins. Glen Scotia and Glengyle distilleries are close by too, with a wonderful range of tours and Campbeltown tasting experiences.
It's a short hop from the Kintyre Peninsula to the Isle of Islay and, if you have the time to spare, it's well worth combining both regions.
Use our experience to get the very best from your Campbeltown whisky tour.
